Pillows, Wedges and Mattresses for Precise Animal Positioning
Positioning aids for animals ensure precise and gentle positioning of the patient during veterinary examinations, treatments and surgical procedures. With suitable mattresses, wedges and pillows, the animal can be positioned optimally even over longer periods, helping to prevent limb paralysis.
Operating Table and Treatment Table Pads
The special positioning mattresses also help stabilize body temperature thanks to their heat-insulating properties, preventing the animal from becoming hypothermic.
The Eickemeyer Ultrasound Positioning Cushion is particularly suitable for abdominal ultrasound, CT and MRI examinations in dogs and cats. The soft padding allows for easy and comfortable positioning of the animal.
During X-ray examinations, stable and uniform positioning of the animal is crucial to obtain precise radiographic and ultrasound images. Only then is a clear and accurate visualisation and assessment of pathological changes in soft tissue and bone structures possible.
Mats and mattresses for operating and treatment tables offer many advantages. They not only prevent animals from slipping but also ensure gentle positioning during examinations and surgical procedures.
Table Pads, Pumps, Cushions & More
In addition, the pads are easy to clean and disinfect, prevent the patient from cooling down and are optimally tailored to the most common table models.
The X-ray Positioning Trough from Eickemeyer, made of lacquered wood, serves as a positioning aid for X-ray examinations, surgeries and other treatments performed on anaesthetised animals. It is particularly suitable for producing hip dysplasia X-ray images in dogs and prevents rotation of the pelvis during positioning.
