Safely Restraining Defensive Animals
Not only aggressive, anxious, or pain-sensitive animals may resist during veterinary treatments, but also dogs and cats that have had negative experiences at the vet. To restrain them safely and gently, we offer appropriate tools that protect both humans and animals from injury during examinations.
Protective Gloves in a Wide Range
For injury-free restraint of dogs, cats, and birds, leather protective gloves are ideal. These gloves are very robust and often feature additional reinforcement with Kevlar lining or Cordura bite plates. They reliably protect against bites and scratches from small animals on the hands and forearms.
In this category, we offer a wide selection of protective gloves in various sizes for dogs, cats, and other animals. A particularly innovative aid for handling defensive cats is the cat restraint bag made of nylon.
While the cat is secured in the closed restraint bag with only its head exposed, veterinarians and assistants remain safely protected from scratches.
Multiple openings in the bag allow targeted treatment of specific body areas, administration of injections, or placement of venous access by extending the paws. The nylon-coated interior of the cat bag can be quickly and easily cleaned after each use.
Muzzles for Dogs
To prevent dogs from biting, eating, or drinking, we offer muzzles in various designs. A nylon muzzle is particularly suitable for short-term use, for example when protection from bites is required.
The basket muzzle offers a high level of comfort. It allows panting and drinking while being worn, while at the same time protecting against bites in cases of aggressive behaviour. All models in our shop are available in various sizes.
