Heat Sealers
Heat Sealers for Medical Use
Sealers are used in general practices or in hospitals for securely shrink-wrapping surgical instruments in medical pouches. In order to prevent recontamination of recently sterilised medical instruments, the safest storage method is to shrink wrap the instruments in a special foil or sterilisation packaging. This is done prior to sterilisation in an autoclave. Praxisdienst offers you medical pouch sealers from MELAG and EURONDA with which you can safely shrink wrap your surgical instruments. With the heat of a heat sealer, pouches & packaging can be optimally sealed with precision pressure and no physical exertion.
Sealers for Pouches & Roll Wares
Bag sealers are typically ready to use within only a few minutes and allow for processing of sterilisation foil, which either takes the form of a steriliser bag or rolls. Modern validatable sealing devices offer optical or acoustical alarms to alert the user of insufficient seal time. With some sealers, the required foil length for the individual instrument can be separated during the sealing process with an integrated cutting device. The seal seam width varies between individual sealers from approximately 10 mm to 12 mm. The vacuum bag's seal seam can be easily checked after successful vacuum wrapping using the Seal Check (seam stability test).
