Heat Sealers for Medical Use
The heat sealer is used in the general practice or in clinical areas for securely shrink wrapping surgical instruments. In order to prevent recontamination of the recently sterilised medical instruments, the safest storage method is to shrink wrap the instruments in a special foil or sterilisation packaging. This is done prior to sterilisation in an autoclave. Praxisdienst offers you medical heat sealers from MELAG and EURONDA with which you can safely shrink wrap your surgical instruments. With a heat sealer, an optimal seal is achieved with precision pressure and no bodily exertion.
Bag Sealers for Steriliser Bags & Roll Wares
Bag sealers are typically ready to use within only a few minutes and allow for processing of the sterilisation foil, which either takes the form of a steriliser bag or rolled product. Modern devices offer optical or acoustical alarms to alert the user of insufficient seal time. With some bag sealers, the required foil length for the individual instrument can be separated during the sealing process with a cutting carriage. The seal seam width varies from bag sealer to bag sealer from approximately 10 mm to 12 mm. With the seal check seal seam test, the vacuum bag's seal seam can be easily checked after successful shrink wrapping.
